We are pleased to announce the formation of the Association of Database Developers (ADD). The purpose of the organization is:

-- To provide an international network of database developers so that anyone, anywhere can easily access quality database support and assistance.

-- To establish an international network of database developers to share programming concepts, methods and procedures.

-- To elevate and promote the importance of quality database development and support in all ways possible.

-- To make known the efforts and accomplishments of the membership.

Association members are experts in a wide variety of database applications such as Access, FileMaker, MySQL, SQL, Oracle and others. End users are able to submit requests for database services through the "Help Needed" section of the ADD web site. Requests are instantly made available to the membership; matching those in need of database development services with the appropriate database developers. The "Find a Developer" section of the site allows end users to search for database developers by name, geographical area or subject matter. ADD also provides a speaker bureau where knowledgeable database developers can be found for conferences and workshops. Database developers that are interested in joining the association may apply online on the ADD web site. The address of the ADD web site is http://www.databaseassociation.com.
